Overview[]

The 2015 Benton Concept is an American electric semi truck on May 1, 2021, the Trucking Update. Players can obtain this electric semi truck at Skill Points 5,000 and it's based on the 2015 Peterbilt Walmart Concept. This is currently the the fourth most expensive truck in the game, before the Tesla Semi.

Similar to most of the semi trucks on the Trucker Team, it can haul any trailer with any type of transported cargo and drop it off to a number of locations around the map. This vehicles requires half of the skill points of the Tesla Semi and is also worth the the grind as its decent top speed at 105 MPH (169 KM/H) and ok acceleration can help you get to long-distance locations a little quicker with the addition of boost as well.

Like the Tesla Semi, this is also recommended for more streamlined jobs such as vehicle, oversize, standard/refrigerated, livestock and oil/petroleum cargo transports. Using this vehicle for jobs that deal with the Nomtauk Quarry or any locations that requires a substanial amount of off-roading is not suggested as it can get stuck to hill mounts and small trenches in the terrain pretty easily.

Trivia[]

  • This is the first electric truck to be added in UDU, the second being the 2023 Tesla Semi.
  • Like most electric semi trucks, its meant to be used for more streamlined jobs that drive on flat surfaced roads.
  • In real life, this vehicle also has its own unique trailer that can be hitched up with for transporting cargo. In-game, it can be seen on the one of the prop vehicles next to the spawn, but isn't featured in the trailer selection GUI.
    • In advance, this trailer would've been nice reward with the truck reward for it as well if this were added.
  • This vehicle's brakes are appalling for an electric vehicle, so its best to lower your speed so you can brake at the right time beside the destination point whether its dropping off or picking up cargo.
  • Even though the semi cab is based on a real-life Peterbilt model, the semi cab in-game sits in its own fabricated branding, known as, Benton, rather than being part of the known Cargostream branding for most Peterbilts.
    • This same situation applies to the Peterbilt 362 Semi Truck, which also sits in its own fabricated branding.
    • The vehicle's distinction has been happening since the Trucking Update release.
