Overview

Codes were added on February 28th, 2020 with the Victory Road update. When redeeming, you'll be rewarded with free in-game items such as vehicle skins and in-game currency. To redeem a code you simply have to go to the shop button to your left with the dollar sign icon. With the second SHOP GUI revamp that was published on September 18th, 2020, the codes button has been moved near the bottom-right corner. Clicking it will open a GUI to redeem all the "current codes" below.

Trivia

• By adding up all cash codes, you can simply get 185,000 credits from just redeeming codes along with the free skin codes and 40.
  • If you've added up the expired cash codes, with the current codes, you could've gotten, 492,508 credits as a new player along with the 10,000 credits you currently have.
• For some reason, in the v4.5.21 update that re-added the code GUI, the promo codes that reward you a car wrap, the image nor text don't appear in front of the code GUI.
• The code "Nothing" gives out the least credit rewards then most of the cash codes.
• When redeeming the code “XMAS” you get a pop-up that reads “Keep the change, ya filthy animal.” This is a reference to the classic 1990 holiday movie Home Alone.
• The code "POG" when it first released, formerly rewarded you 50,000, the most amount of credits from a UD code that a player has redeemed.
  • Despite the amount of people who redeemed it, the UD management nerfed it to 15,000.
• The code "Heartless" is a reference to one of the UD staff members who run the GameFam Studios YouTube channel for UD content/livestreams.
• The code "SORRYBACON" originally came from this video on the GameFam Studios YouTube Channel.
  • Skip to 6:45 for the code.
• The code "THXFRMGAMEFAM" was showcased on the Bacon Hair Pranks Video Part 2 on the official GameFam Studios official YouTube channel. It was created from the GameFam Studios team for reaching 200 likes on one of their livestreams.
• The code "UNINSTA" was a code for the launch of their Instagram account which was only redeemable for 24 HRS.
• The code "MONROEHYPE" was a code dedicated to index15's UD: Monroe.
• The code "TRUCKING" was a code dedicated to the Trucking Update that released on May 1st, 2021. The code expired 2 days later on Monday.
• The code "MEMORIALDAY2021" was a code added on May 31th, 2021 for Memorial Day.
• The code “Unexpected” gives a wrap featuring three men in red robes. This is a reference to the Monty Python sketch “The Spanish Inquisition”, where three men in red robes run into the sketch and exclaim “Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!” if one mentions it.
• The code "INDEPENDENCE2021" was a code added on July 4th, 2021 for Independence Day.
• The code "SAFETYISCOOL" was announced in the UDCE Official Discord by Chris_L (UD Community Manager) on August 3rd, 2021 as random server members on the discord are being sent with suspicious DMs of malware downloads.
• Due to the new Shop GUI update on September 18th, 2021, the codes GUI was temporarily removed from the game. A week later on September 25th, 2021, the promo codes GUI was re-added back with the addition of the new code, "YAYCODES".
• The code "VETERANS2021", was added on November 12th, 2021 for to admire Veterans Day which happened the day before it.
• The code "THANKSGIVING2021", was added on November 25th, 2021 for to admire the Thanksgiving holiday.
• When redeeming the code "SCHOOLISCOOL", it rewards the player skill points for the Transit Team rather than the usual credits.
• The code "AMPRO" was an unreleased code to dedicate Sebee's youtube channel.
• The code "VIVELAREVOLUTION" was made as a joke toward overthrowing TwentyTwoPilots by the UD Staff Team.
