The 2012 Dodge Charger SRT-8 is an American muscle car in the Ultimate Driving Universe. It can be bought for $104,480 and was added during the Dodge Weekend update, which added multiple Dodge vehicles to the game along with the Neon, Caravan and Viper. It is known as the 2012 DGB Inferno SV8 in game.
Description
The Dodge Charger SRT-8 is based on the modern Dodge vehicle of the same name that first began production in 2005 for the 2006 model year as a continuation to the original Dodge Charger produced from 1966 to 1987. In particular, the model in-game is based on the pre-facelifted LD platform Dodge Charger SRT-8, which was produced from 2012 to 2014. It is the sedan counterpart to the Dodge Challenger SRT-8, and its luxury counterpart is the Chrysler 300 SRT-8. In real life, the car is powered by the Chrysler 6.4 L HEMI Apache V8 engine, which at the time of this car's production generated 470 bhp and pushed the car to a 0-60 time of 4.8 seconds, but would later receive an increase to 485 bhp when the facelift released in 2015.
Police Charger

The Charger SRT-8 also has a police variant available for use. When initially released, the police version of the Charger SRT-8 is identical to the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS (Police) performance-wise, thus making it have a noticeably lower top speed than its civilian counterpart. When the Racing Update released, revenue increased to $608 (slightly less than the civilian version), and the top speed still mirrored the police Camaro (both being increased to 185 MPH / 298 km/h), but the Charger has slower acceleration than the Police Camaro, as well as an unmarked variant.

- It isn't uncommon to see players make requests for the more powerful Hellcat model of the Charger.
- Prior to the Racing Update, despite being an extremely heavy vehicle in real life (it along with the Challenger are often jokingly compared to yachts) the Charger SRT8 arguably possessed superior cornering ability and stability to some of the supercars available in-game.
