Overview[]
The 2013 Ford Taurus Police Interceptor is an American Police sedan that was added to Ultimate Driving in the Mailman Team Overhaul Update, along with its Unmarked Variant. Players can obtain both marked and unmarked variants for FREE on the Police Team. In-game, it's known as the Dearborn Pisces - Police (2013).
Appearance[]
The Police variant features the original Ford Taurus model, with its black and white livery colors. It also appears that this vehicle presents its very own blue striping placed on both sides. Unlike most Police vehicles, the vehicle's rambar ELS lighting is a lot more distinctive rather than the typical 2 lights placed on top, and 2 lights placed on the sides of the rambar.
Vehicle Statistics[]
Note: In this scenario, the vehicle's top speed (in MPH) is multiplied by the quantity of credits/XP per mile.
VIP | Top Speed (In MPH) | Credits/Mile | XP/Mile | Credits/Hour | XP/Hour |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
None | 150 MPH | 500 | 300 | 75,000 | 45,000 |
VIP (x1.3) | 150 MPH | 650 | 390 | 97,500 | 58,500 |
Trivia[]
- The police wheels on the Ford Taurus are also used on several other police cars such as a 2010/15 Dodge Charger, and Ford Police Interceptor Utility.
- The Ford Taurus was one of the most requested police vehicles made by the community.
- Some players consider cops driving the Taurus comparable to the cops who drive the Police Camaro as it is one of the cars that is free to low ranked cops who typically annoy people and cuff rush.
- As of March 2021, the unmarked Taurus Interceptor has a bug causing its max speed to peak at 210 MPH. The marked Taurus Interceptor had the same bug but since been patched. This makes the unmarked Taurus a popular pursuit vehicle for police, behind the Chevrolet Corvette.
